Ceramic Ring
Our clients can avail from us, Ceramic Seal Rings, which are chemically inert and have large application area. Due to hardness, generally a 99.5% aluminum oxide provides excellent wear characteristics. Thermal shocks that Ni-resists cannot be handled by ceramic. If dropped on concrete, these will also shatter like a plate. Lower purity grades (typically 85%) are offered but these are more subject to thermal shock and chemical attack.
